Reverend Leigh Cloughfeather…
Was raised in Delaware with a brother who was a special needs individual. Her brother, Arty, taught her about the challenges and blessings that a family experiences with a special needs child.
As an adult, she became a LPN who specialized in Neurosurgical and Emergency Medicine. From a former marriage she has three children, a son-in-law, and three grandchildren. She was active in numerous community events and local politics.
In the 1980s she began to question what her life was about and what she might contribute to society. In the late 1980s and early 1990s she began to explore meditation. During this stage of her life, an opportunity appeared where she studied Native American Spirituality. She also was given a rare opportunity to write and established a rehabilitation program for women in prison to enhance their success upon release. It was during these years that a new reality for living started making sense. She realized that life was not just about the everyday reality she was living, but a reality that fulfills the heart founded upon a spiritual perspective of service to others.
Later, after completing two fulfilling years of studying spirituality, she became ordained by Rev. Dan Chesbro on May 18, 1996. Rev. Dan remains the head of the “Sanctuary of the Beloved” and still performs ordinations in accordance with the “Order of Melchizedek” for those with a calling.
In 1997 she took a sabbatical to understand her life’s purpose and explore her love for her Higher Power, God!.
In the late 1990s she met and unconditionally received her pre-destined soul mate into her life and continued living a life of service to others. In 2001 they relocated to West Virginia and when their home was completed, her brother, Arty, came to live with them. Realizing the limitations of Arty’s daily activities, she wrote and established a Special Needs Agency offering an interactive Day Program and Independent Residential Living for individuals with special needs. Today, her company, Daily Companions Inc., continues to operate assisting individuals with special needs and their families and improving their quality of life.
One Saturday morning in December 2018 while watching YouTube, she received a powerful message from within, that of her ‘Higher Power, the God Source!’ She was instructed to retire mid-summer 2020 from Daily Companions, and assume the gifted title of the Reverend Leigh Cloughfeather. Through her company, Divine Archways LLC, she shares her spiritual knowledge through lectures, Holy Fire III Reiki sessions, classes, workshops and one-on-one spiritual coaching.
She enjoys traveling, reading. giving lectures and working one-on-one with individuals who are interested in discovering their beliefs and life purpose.
